Beth's Best Meatloaf

Beths Recipes, Dinner, Freezer

Ingredients

1 1/2 ~ 2 lb beef and pork mixture (can use all beef)

1/2 cup frozen onions ( I use frozen celery, onion, pepper mix)

1/2 pkg stove top stuffing ( I use the wheat one)

1/2 bottle chili sauce (save rest for top of loaf)

1 egg

1/2 cup milk or cream

Mrs. Dash garlic seasoning

brown sugar (sprinkle)

Directions

Mix all ingredients except meat together in large bowl or mixer.

Add Meat and mix well.

Place in loaf pan, pat down. Make well around outside edge for grease. Brush with extra chili sauce and sprinkle a small amount of brown sugar on top of that (opt).

Or freeze

Combine all ingredients

Shape into a large loaf and place in an ungreased 9x5 inch pan. Wrap in saran wrap, then foil, date and then store in the freezer for up to 6 months

When you are ready to cook, preheat oven to 350°F.

Bake uncovered at 350º for about an hour or until a meat thermometer reads 160°F

Let cool to room temperature and serve.
